CSERC has proposed draft CSERC (Terms and Conditions for determination of tariff for Renewable Energy Sources) Regulations, 2025 and has invited comments by July 03, 2025. In this regard, we have some comments on the aspect of inclusion of solar, wind, hybrid RE and storage (PSP and BESS) projects under the ambit of this regulation, which are attached. The submission focuses on following key aspects:
- Reconsider the provisions related to determination of tariff of some RE sources under section 62
- Need to continue procurement of RE power through competitive bidding process
