This webinar launched our new initiative Power Perspectives, a web portal which provides brief commentaries and analyses of important developments in the Indian power sector. Along with reporting multi-state and national developments, the portal focuses on providing articles and analysis on policy, regulatory, and sectoral updates from select states.

Currently, the states of Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh are covered. For these states, along with the articles, there are state overview reports and infographics to provide a better understanding of recent trends and state realities.

Power Perspectives covers issues that are not adequately tracked from a public interest perspective so that various stakeholders are informed of emerging trends, regulatory decisions, policy announcements and schemes.

This initiative could enhance discourse among policy makers, regulators, researchers, journalists, civil society organisations, and think tanks on important sector developments.

The launch event introduced Power Perspectives and provided a brief walk-through of the portal.
